I think it is just here in northern California! People post puppies all the time!!

I think its pretty much everywhere, I know just here in el paso x I see animals up for adoption all the time at least 3 different animals a day. Its sad really.

I do agree about people putting pets on craigslist.

But I did get my husky Blaze from Craigslist.

The person that had him on there, has both Blaze's mother and father he breed them and gave Blaze to a relative who decided after a few months he was too much touble. The person them listed Blaze on Craigslist. I call him about him we went to see Blaze that evening the guy did not ask us to many questions he told us we should research the breed (which we did after we got him) I fell in love with him we took him home that evening. He has a great personality.. I was not sure what to do with him after getting him home so I took him for a walk.. We have been walking about twice a day since I got him that was last July in the heat of the summer.

Blaze was 9 months old at the time.

We got our GSD off Craigslist.

Biko, came off of Craigslist. The owner seemed to really care where he was going to and we communicated over 4-5 days with many emails. Suppose the reason he got rid of him was allergies but I've seen that reason so many times I don't believe it any more. I couldn't be happier with Biko, he definitely has helped me thru some difficult times.

Maybe its my area, alot of the owners here are in it for the money or just want a quick fix. Its sad really.
