I wanted some "before" pics of Zelda, because I know with a few months of proper care she is going to be so beautiful! Zelda is the copper husky. Right now she is 5 1/2 months, stands just a bit taller than Vixen, and is 21 pounds. Vixen is 4 months and 30 lbs.

Cute! Is her back leg deformed or is it just a weird angle?

She has a club foot- it is why the lady on Craigslist didn't want her. She walks on her ankle, but she uses it pretty well still. Going to take her to an orthopedic specialist and see what can be done for it, if anything.

Thank you. They make me laugh every day. It took the car ride home for them to becom3 best friends! That is what I love about huskies. Instead of seeing other dogs as primarily a threat, they see them as a playmate!

She doesn't seem to notice. When she runs she 3-legs it, but she uses it to make sharp turns and catch her balance, and if she is just walking she uses it. She keeps up with Vixen pretty well!
