Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Hello everyone, I have been a bit worried since late thursday last week on through today .... I keep my 4 month old husky on a very strict feeding schedule ... I feed her every day at 8:30 a.m a cup of Eukanuba puppy kibble with a cube of boiled chicken grated on top of it and again at five P.m a cup and a half of kibble with a vegetable like green beans, brussel sprout or carrot ... up until thursday she would have to poop an hour and a half after eating and she would sit down and wait at the back door .... since thursday though she has been holding it in ...for hours! i think it started with a horrible cold windy rain storm, she was just frightened and very determined to get her way and go back inside the house ... but unless she poops i want to keep her in her crate to avoid accidents .... me and my boyfriend have been so worried! has anyone had this problem? is this normal or okay? we fed her at her normal dinner time and it has been seven hours and still NOTHING :c If anyone has a bit of advice i would love to hear it !! thanks!!! |

| My Phoebe did the exact same thing. She would eat breakfast at 7:30 and wouldn't poop until 2:30-3:30 and she wouldn't poo her dinner 5:30-6 until she woke up the next morning . I ask my vet cause I was concerned too and he said it was fine, that I should just get her moving some more and it'll make it easier for her to go |

| I found when Karli was smaller, that she pooped the easiest if I took her for a walk about an hour after her meal. We got the best bowel movements then. She holds her poop all night and poops in the morning (we feed her when we eat, which is usually around 7pm and she goes to bed at 8pm, never has any issues with holding it and we stay up for a while after, so if she had to go, we could take her out.) |
