Since I only have about 3 weeks before I go pick my boy up I figured I would start a scrapbook for him.

Ashleigh, he is such a doll & I am so thankful I am able to witness his personality for you & get these photos for you! he is definitely going to be a handful! he was running all over the place! it was so precious! his & willows personalities are so different! it's hilarious!

Ahh! I'm so glad you can too! At least it gives me more of an idea of what he's like and I cannot thank you enough! Hahah. I bet he's going to be a little mischievous turd. XD

you are very welcome! & I just want to let you know - he has the funniest howl right now. it doesn't come out right whatsoever. but that baby sure does try!!! hahah.

I go pick Mishka up in a week. I'm not sure I'm ready...

I a sure you MIshka will be one spoiled puppy.. Looks like a lot of good stuff.

Some of it he won't get just yet! I'll let him have some of the soft stuffed toys and a few of the chewies (Nylabones, etc.) but I'll let him see what he prefers.

I even bought antlers, which I forgot to put in the picture. He won't get those for a while though. Lol. Buying a few things over the period of the last 8 months has paid off.

I think you have more shopping to do - not sure he has enough toys!!!!! LOL

Caine was stalking him from behind everything. Lol.



He did awesome on the drive home! He slept pretty much the entire time. We stopped at Olivia's for him to play with Willow and maybe unwind a bit and it definitely helped calm him down.

He did not like the crate. Lol. He howled and cried for a good 20 minutes before I laid on the floor next to it and he was quiet / asleep for a good 3 hours and then he needed to potty. We did that two more times before he was up at 7am (formerly 6am thanks to DST).

Today he's been really good. He started biting when he got really excited / playful but I got up and walked away from him. I worked on sit with him and he seems to already understand it. Crazy how smart these pups are. I worked on putting him in the crate for a few minutes at a time and he was okay the first time but the second time he threw a fit.

He has only had one pee accident in the house so far, but I have been diligently taking him out every 1-2 hours. I think he's already showing me when he needs to go out by going to the door.

The cat is still not too happy about the puppy. But Mishka seems to be a big scaredy cat. Lol. He was afraid of the cat and my fiance scared him earlier today when he was trying to get him to run / play in the backyard.

For not having ever been on a lead / worn a collar, he's doing really good with that. He does plop his butt down and doesn't want to go anywhere occasionally but overall he's doing well.

Vet appointment tomorrow and I may stay home from work just for another day. I'm hoping he settles in well and starts taking to his crate better. He'll go in it on his own but mostly lay next to it, so when I get him to go in it and shut the door he will howl up a storm.
