So we have 1 month to go for me to get the calendar finished. i am building it on shutterfly. Tori and Meredith have seen it. it is a 8.5x11 wall calendar. they do a volume discount at 25 calendars, its a $300 buy in. that makes each one $12, i looked into flat rate shipping and i think its about $5, if we want to do a $5 donation to a to be named rescue and we have 25+ people getting a calendar we can raise $125+ for the to be named rescue. that would make each calendar $22 for each of them. i would really like to know a head count and im wondering if i should just start collecting the money now for those that for-sure what one to help offset the cost of the buy in, only issue is if we don't get 25 people the cost will go up, right now they have 40% off calendars and im sure we could wait around for them to run that offer again. with the holidays im sure they will. that brings each one to $12.60 so we would just have less money going to the rescue. i think doing a paypal payment would be the easiest thing. this is only the 2nd time we have done a thing like this and im trying to figure out the best way to go about it. how do you all feel about this and with collecting money before the order? i can keep it all in the paypal account till im ready to place the order and i hope to get them all out before Christmas, or the new yr.

No offense, I would not allow Jenn to do this without collecting money ahead of time. That's how I did it for the shirts and that was safer.

Angela, im not sure.... i was doing the flat rate boxes from USPS. let me look into it, im sure it cost more.

To Canada, a flat rate envelope is $12.95, which is $7 more than US.

Melissa, we have some time, i still need to know the winners for Dec. and we need to hit 25 so we can get the discount, so no huge rush. i will just keep bumping it up as a reminder. just trying to get them shipped before xmas but not sure if that will happen.

Junior, its the top 3 from every month of our HOTM contest. some only have 2 pics as the tie for 3 was way to many and some have 4 if the 3rd place tie was only 2 other dogs, you can look back in the threads for the HOTM to see the pics, or under the original HOTM calendar thread has some pics in it. so far it looks good
