| Hi everyone, (I hope I'm posting this in the right place) my name is Lauren and my husband's name is Brad (he thinks I've gone a little overboard with the whole forum business ha) and we are getting a husky puppy in 3 weeks! I am so excited and have been getting pictures from the breeder every week watching him grow and I just cannot wait to get him! He is all white and his name is Dragon (already got his tag engraved) a.k.a. Balerion the White Dread for any of you out there that read George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones ha.. anyway I thought it was pretty clever myself :/ We are both pretty new to the dog/puppy process so I will probably have lots of questions for anyone willing to answer.. that is mostly why I joined, and the fact that I think huskies are so beautiful and I told my husband that I was willing to wait to get a husky, I know they are smart dogs and get bored fast and need lots of things to keep them entertained, and I think that ole Dragon and myself are a lot alike already. Just wish everyone would stop raining on my parade about getting a puppy ("he's gunna chew up everything!") NSS!! lol anyway I rant. I will be sure and take lots of pics when I go pick him up, I am getting him from a breeder in Alabama, had to save my pennies for his cute little butt, and will post them as soon as I can. | Yeah! Another Game of Thrones pup! We have a few here now  Welcome! We are just down the road in Pensacola, FL (for a few more weeks). You north or south MS? We have a little Gulf Coast meet up group going if you're close enough to drive in for the day, and occasionally we have meets in Mobile. | Thanks for the welcome everyone!! Blueeyedghost we are from Jackson MS so we are a good drive from Mobile (at least in this fuel economy) but keep me posted on meets! I am pretty stoked that there are more GoT fans here! Dragon will be too. As soon as I can get my stupid laptop to pull the website up properly I will post a pic from last week the breeder sent me.
