| Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Happy Birthday to RIPLEY!! She hit 5 years today
Chris and I have had her for almost 2 months now, and we had "the talk"
We agreed, shes an awesome dog with a few issues, and she gets along great with Tika. We originally were going to get a rescue Pittbull as a companion, but I guess there were other plans for us. We both love her dearly, and would never be able to justify putting her up for adoption in order to replace her with a different rescue unless there was something very wrong.
Her begging is still a bit annoying, and she still counter surfs, 3 peices of tomatoe pizza went missing this past weekend.....lol. But overall she has improved tremendously. She LOVES going for walks, and absolutely LOVES to run. Her health is much much better and her hearing is too. All in all she's doing great, and has acclimatized to our house and Tika really well.
Long story short......she's not going anywhere

| Awww this just got me all emotional  I'M SO HAPPY THAT YOU'RE KEEPING HER!!!! Honestly though I knew that after 2 months of having her she wasn't going anywhere. Especially after seeing your family pic  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!! |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!! LOL Melissa! Its funny because a few weeks ago when we got a supposed "serious" interested person, when I read the email I almost started to cry. She chose that moment to jump up on the couch with me and cuddle. I knew then that she was staying, but we still had to have the discussion. Thanks all for the positive thoughts and comments throughout. It has been tough, but incredibly rewarding to have her as part of our little pack ~Kelly |
