Forum Rules

What is this all about? Loki, the young male, has been doing this to my old guy since he was a puppy. Does it look like play? Have any of you with more than one dog seen this behavior?

My two do that on occasion. Sometimes it leads to full out husky play other times it doesn't. I don't find it anything to worry about...just 2 dogs talking to one another.

Definitely nothing to worry about! The young one is definitely trying to get your older one to play. This is exactly what Kody does to Mya! Sometimes it turns into play time, others it's just a full blown husky argument!

Hayden does this ALL THE TIME!!!!! He does it to all the dogs are the dog park trying to entice them to play or chase him. It usually makes dog owners worried that he's being mean, then I have to explain "he's trying to piss you're dog off basically to the point where he chases him". Older dog's get upset with him, but the younger ones tend to want to play when he does this. Either way, I think it's cute

Kale does this to ME! haha he paws at me and flops on the floor doing that side-digging thing he does and yammers up a storm then he tucks tail and runs around me room and paws at me. Goober. It's usually right when I get home from work and he wants to play outside

My husky and chihuahuas do this to each other with a very high pitched bark/howl its pretty funny unless someone bites an ear and then my oldest chihuahua ally(alpha/pack leader) is onto the other two to knock it off its pretty funny
