| Benadryl is fine to give to both dogs and cats, and the rule of thumb is 1 mg per lb of body weight. So, theoretically you could give Maggie 2 25mg pills at a time, though I'd start her off at 1 and see how that works. She doesn't seem to be having any breathing difficulties, does she? _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | You're welcome! I have to give my cats benadryl for road trips, so I've had that one memorized for a while now _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | That looks a lot like a bee sting..my two have gotten them from eating fallen apples that bees are in or on. Benadryl is fine and even recommended by my vet. |

| I think it is a bee sting as well. I got 25mg of a doggie benedryl bottle at the feed store. You know Meredith I was reading I could give her 2 but I gave her one to start with. Nope her breathing is fine. Just the bump and sneezing.
I hope this will help. |
