Ugh, I'm so mad. I just wrote up this entire post and I lost it!!!

Thanks everybody! She's doing really good so far and Mya is "better" today. No attacking this morning, they drank water next to each other (not out of the same bowl and with me right there), and she "allowed her" to lay on the bed with her and Kody. Kody also played with Mya with morning and I think she was happy about that Baby steps I guess.

I have some questions. Of course. LOL!

First of all, she sleeps perfectly through that night which is awesome. I hope she keeps that up! We took her out for their last potty break at 10:30pm and at 3:15am I heard her pacing so I took her out and she did #1. Went right back into Kody's crate (that's in our bedroom) and didn't wake up until Mya and Kody woke me up at 6:30am.

So, I'm having issues with the placing of the crates. Kody's crate is in our room. He stays in there during the day and Mya has free roam of our bedroom. Asia's crate doesn't fit in our bedroom without me having to move Mya's bed (she sleeps there at night and Kody sleeps on the bed with us). Our house is pretty tiny (decent sized backyard though, thank goodness) so we had to rearrange the TV room to hit her crate next to the sofa. Now, here's the thing. I want them all in the same room. It's not fair for poor Asia to be in one room and Kody and Mya in the other. So, I told Ivan that we should move Kody's crate to the TV room as well and just give Mya free roam of the house. Kody's crate will totally be in the way, but we have to do what we have to do. The thing is that Asia is sleeping so well in Kody's crate in our bedroom. I don't want her to have to sleep in the TV room by herself. Another thing is that I don't want Kody to feel his "space" is getting taken away by her sleeping in his crate. He doesn't seem to mind since he sleeps with us though.

What do you guys would be best? Move Kody's crate to the TV room with Asias and just let Asia sleep on a doggie bed in our room? Leave Kody's crate in our room Asias in the other?

Oh Mel, she's beautiful! I'm so glad things are working out better today for everyone (glad hubby caved too). I can't believe how tiny she is! Good luck with her and tell Mya she better be good.

Afraid I can't help you with the crate issue, but I'm guessing everyone would be okay sleeping together in the bedroom.

She is GORGEOUS! and look at the freckles!!! I'm a sucker for freckles!

It's slightly expensive, but we solved this problem by ordering a "under the bed" storage bed. The kind with the dresser drawers in the bed frame. They run about 400-700 bucks on ebay, but it was totally worth it. We got rid of our dresser, and now have room for both crates (although we are down to just one that is empty most of the time). If they have to be crated, and you don't want them in the TV room, maybe this is an option?

Our house is TINY as well, but we have a HUGE backyard. If we put Rio's crate in the office, she would howl. The only solution was putting it in the bedroom.

Maybe that would help??

ETA: We don't crate ours at night any more, and Rio is only in her crate to eat MOST of the time, because she hates the crate (I think something happened to her in a crate because she panics like she is being beaten).

Shes is cute! I personally would keep them all together so they feel equal and no one is left out.

I'd try and keep her crated at night for at least the next week. Maybe just for now bring Kodys crate back and forth at bed time? Just give everyone some time to adjust to having her in the house?

Shes Gorgeous! makes me want another one i just dont have the room for it right now i Hope Mya warms up! hopefully she will, my old roomates husky daisy was the same way with paisley as a puppy she started warming up but theres no way of telling how they would be because she moved up but there was hope because they started getting along!!

Maybe get a cheap soft sided crate for her to only use at night? You could fold it down during the day, and leave Kody's crate in the living room.

We really don't have the room for another one either, but we'll make it work. At least the yard (as ugly as it is) is a decent size.

Tiff, we have no dresser in the room, but we have a king size bed. The two crates would fit, but then Mya looses her doggie bed corner and that wouldn't be fair.

I think we might have to move Kody's crate back and forth like Kristina said because when we went home during lunch Asia had peed/pooped in the crate and MIL who lives in front of us told me that she was crying the entire time

I want a playmate for Blaze but hubby isn't ready for a second one maybe later.

I think she's doing a bit better with her than Kody. Now it's just a matter of if Asia will be as submissive to Mya in the long run as Kody is. Finger and paws crossed!

Omg, whoever invented that is a genius! I'll have to measure Kody's current crate to see how big it is!

She's actually doing really well. Like she didn't even get spayed and her incision is looking good so far. This little sure sure does have personality which is starting to show little by little! The landlord is cool. Thank god!

I'm so happy for you guys! And yes, I see mischief in those eyes, like in little Miss Frostis. I think this one is gonna be a digger. hehe Will she be ok in the crate if she has Kody near her? Frosti is little miss drama if Chili isn't beside her in another crate while we're gone....
