We use the bitter apple stuff that Petsmart sells, and it's worked well for us. The one piece of furniture Ghost started chewing on as a puppy got sprayed pretty heavily and it stopped her immediately. Haven't had any problems since.

Also, we use a tablespoon or 2 diluted with water in a spray bottle and squirt the dogs for discipline. Also works well, though not AS well with Ghost.

is that the bitter yuck stuff? That stuff doesn't bother maggie. We went through 5 e-collars with her when she had her broken leg (long story). I got it on my hands and washed them. Some how it still got in my mouth. ewwwww I had to brush my teeth 20 times!

LOL

A few weeks after I had gotten Blaze I left him in the car for about 10-15minutes and when I came back He had chewed thru the passenger seat belt. After pricing a new one, I still do not have a seat belt there.. No one but Blaze really rides in my car with me..

I've never had an issue with kirk chewing things in the car. He does though press every button on the dash board, so when I get back in the car everything turns on all at the same time.

The bitter sprays seem to have no effect on our two, however, vinegar seems to work well...

Brooke,
Kale is a beautiful puppy, nice video!
I've found, so far, in my limited experience, that the bitter apple is helping us with our pup. I sprayed it on the base of the baby gate because he kept chewing it to get out. Since I soaked it with the spray, he doesn't really chew it; he'll still tries to scratch at it but that's it. I also sprayed it on the base of the cabinets and works well. It is an alcohol based product so over time it will evaporate so you may have to re-apply.
