| So I ordered a mini educator collar several weeks ago and I was unable to get a stim with the longer 3/4 " points that came in the box on my husky.
I have ordered both the "Thick-Haired Contact Points 3/4 Inch" and the "Max 100 1" Extra Long Probes for Long Hair" contact points and will try both to see which one allows for a proper stim.
I was curious what contact points handlers have used on here to get a stim on their husky. Mine is not a wooly but AKC standard.
Hopefully, the "Thick-Haried Contact Points 3/4" are sufficient as I believe the 1" Extra Long Propes would be more likely to cause hot spots and probably more uncomfortable to wear. |

| I have a wooly boy and a standard coat. Born work fine worn the long prongs that came in the box (mine is mini radiator also.) The trick is getting the collar snug enough and parting the fur, nestling the contacts in after though have buckled the collar. I used tho have a problem until I realized it was too loose and after the collar was on a bit their head shaking and motion was moving the receiver around. Also, I changed where I out the collar on, it is now prong collar behind the jaw/ears, buckled collar with tags then ecollar. I fit the collar so I can just barely get my a finger under each prong simultaneously. I'm a small woman so my fingers are not huge. |

I am getting one of those bungee collars (add-on for ecollar) that helps maintain the contact points. |

| Those bungie collar straps address on my wish list. I looked at the cheaper aftermarket ones but I'm.afraid they might let go and I'd loose the receivers as these guys what there collars all day long and have free run of four acres. Can't afford to replace so as soon as I can will be purchasing the original mfg version for both dogs. |

| I also have a mini educator. I use the thick hair contact points and also do as Amy said. I always make sure to part the fur to ensure contact with his skin otherwise I get no contact at all. I also use a bungee collar. I got mine on Etsy and I love it. It has a little more give to it so there's less stress on his neck while still getting a really good contact.
