| Ami asked to go outside. I opened the door, he walked out about 6 ft and smoothly reversed course, came back in, went to his blanket under the table and is in a husky curl with a decided frown on his face... Now that is cold when a husky don't wanna' go out |

| Haha. Mishka doesn't like it when it gets really cold (20s-30s) here. He comes and curls up on the couch or in the bed and will lay under a blanket for an evening. Lol. _________________ |

| We can barely get our dogs inside right now. It was -7 C this morning (19F) without the wind and the ground is covered in snow. They are loving it. |

| Ghost is being an ass and refusing to come in, Orion and Kodi were both like "oh hell no!" this morning. It was 23 and breezy, not sure what the wind chill was. I wish we at least had snow to go along with it, but no. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Ha! I don't think I've seen 'too cold' for Diz. This morning it was 28 with a wind chill of 11 and he was so happy. He was all prancy with his nose up in the wind, tail up and had a floaty gait. Such a silly boy! |

| I'm not sure what the issue was when I posted this but later in the evening, he went out and had himself a ball and refused to come in. Finally I went out to get him and he was a stitch - he had one of his bones and wanted to bury it - he trotted to the west side with this big ole hunk of knee cap...nope, ground frozen, he trotted to the south side, nope, not here, he trotted back to a different section of the west side, nope...the lilac tree, the rose border, the house border. Finally settled on the loose leaves under the hemlocks on the east side. I think it took him 10 minutes to find a suitable place. Then came galloping in the house, mad dash to the family room, leaped up on the couch and had zoomies around Wayne's head Back in the kitchen he did a mad scratching, bunching, re-arranging of his blanket and then looked up pleased as punch with himself. Then slept like a baby until 9 this morning. Jen - don't you just love it when the put their nose up into the wind? Ami was doing that a lot on his walk yesterday - so primal and beautiful. It's still cold but warmer then yesterday...tomorrow we get the north chimney fixed |

She was doing that to me all weekend, after she conned me into opening the door... She's a clever little one. A couple times she would just sit down on the concrete patio and look at me. I bet her butt was cold on that slab this morning! Bratty girl! |

That dog is too smart for her own good... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Kesler and Sinatra spent 5 minutes outside yesterday and then stood shivering at the patio door with their back to the wind and their fur being ruffled the wrong way. They are a bit "soft" apparently The wind in our area was insane yesterday. Added to crazy winds in town, out at our place we have an open field beside and behind us and haven't planted a wind break yet....it was madness! I was having trouble keeping upright. |
