Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

So randomly he tail tucks. Does that mean she is scared? We'll be playing and then sometimes when I reach for her it will tuck. There are other times randomly it will happen. She does it sometimes when I put her harness on. I'm confused =/

I don't know why she would do that randomly but I thought I would share some odd behavior from our 7 year old male. He absolutely must hate the text message notification from an iphone. whenever one goes off he will just calmly get up and leave the room. It could even be if one goes off on TV he's up and out. Sometimes he goes to his places other time's wants to go outside but where ever we're at in the house if one goes off, he's leaving the room. Any other phone doesn't bother him, but iphone's... (sorry Steve Jobs..) Husky's certainly have their own personality!!

It doesn't necessarily mean scared it could be apprehensive like a "I don't know why you are reaching for me" Or "I don't like putting my harness on" Both of my dogs don't like putting harness on even though they like what we do when they have them on.
You could try counter conditioning her to you touching or even just reaching like reach out and then give a treat. Dog body langue isn't as simple as tail up happy or tail down scared. I have seen dogs have high wagging tails and then try and attack the dog next to them but if you looked at the whole body of the dog you could tell he as being a jerk.

Also do you mean tail all the way under him or just down because that is different.

It goes down, very rarely does it tuck like covering genitals. Maybe she is just focusing or maybe it's cause im huge compared to her with such a large object coming towards her she doesn't like it

Yes bandit is the same way with the harness. Her tail tucks and covers genitals. She hates putting it on but once it's on she knows it means walks or car ride
