2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! So Diz has been blowing coat for a while now, and within the last week or so I'm noticing a lot more guard hair coming out. Is that normal? Could he be losing puppy coat as well?

Perfectly normal if he's rolling coat or if he's dropping that puppy coat.

It's when they do a complete blow of all the dead coat, not just undercoat but guard hair too. Mine tend to do this every other year.

Scruffy when dirty, sleek when clean. If he's not freshly bathed he sort of looks like he has bedhead, and some cowlicks. Honestly though, Diz has so much fur, I don't see much of a difference in terms of his outer coat yet. He just looks more sleek after losing a lot of undercoat, although he still has a long way to go with the undercoat.

So it's normal if they're rolling coat as adults?
I've noticed Lycus shedding his guard hairs too this year so it freaked me out a little lol.

So I guess Okami would be rolling his coat?  Even though when I brush him I only see undercoat come out? Haha.  Maybe it is this just a puppy coat thing.
