2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

So, my absolute favorite place to order anything pet related (they're customer service is fantastic!) isn't selling Orijen after they run out of stock. I'm thinking of switching to Merrick Backcountry Raw Infused Puppy Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. Does anyone feed their sibe's this, or know how good of a food this is for my pup?

Just chatted with Chewy.  Petsmart just purchased Chewy who is acting as an independent subsidiary.
Simultaneously Champion Pet Foods who make Acana and Orijen, along with Fromm have removed Chewy as an authorized distributor.

Thanks for the heads up on this Caylene, I think we're going to have a few people hustling for their dog food. As @caylene said, when it's sold out, it's gone.

Merrick is/was a good food. You don't hear much about them anymore because they were bought by Purina, but Purina swears they have changed nothing about merricks original high quality formula. My cat gets canned merrick and has done well on it.

Merrick is a great food. I feed the can Merrick to my girls, when my husky gets into her I don't want to eat moods and does excellent on it. I just straight up gave to her, she is an adult mind you. Smile I have heard great things from different groups and forums. Since you currently feed Orijen, I would get some Merrick to do a transition, Since their Protein, fat and fiber %'s are somewhat different, check KCal difference too.

My pups are on a raw diet but I supplement with Merricks Backcountry Raw Infused kibble when I need to restock their meat or when I send Kay off with the dog sitter. It good stuff!

Also, if you've purchased Orijen from them before, you'll get 50% off of the next 3 bags of food you buy from other brands (up to $25 off).

Glad to hear it's good stuff! and Eddy, I plan on treating her with plain boiled chicken breast throughout the day to make sure she gets the protein she was used to.

Thanks for all the responses!

I can vouch for Merrick. I use the freeze dried chicken puppy formula. Asher loves it and is growing like a weed on it.
