Subject: How to deal with aggression? Wed Aug 07, 2013 12:55 am
We currently have 2 pure bred huskies and one husky Doberman mix. Recently we adopted a male husky cause the owners were moving and couldn't take him with them. Our pure bred female is in heat and our Doberman husky mix is fixed. We have noticed that the male husky and the female husky get along great but he is aggressive towards the mix. I am wondering if anyone can tell me why he is acting this way towards her?

Is the other male fixed? I'm not an expert, but if not that might be part of this issue. Again though, I'm not an expert so I would wait for someone else's input.

Our female husky isn't fixed. The mix husky is fixed. I had a feeling that the aggression was that my mix husky is fixed but wasn't to sure. We had a chihuahua here for awhile that is a male and fixed but our male husky was never aggressive towards him. Btw the mix husky is a female.
