2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. We brought Gambit home this past weekend, so he's been home 6 days now, and he doesn't seem to have much of an appetite. He is 10 weeks, 4 days and weighs 13 lbs. He was sent home with a bag of River Run puppy food, which I'm not impressed with, and I've been slowly adding in his new food. We're lucky if he eats 1/2 to 2/3 of a cup of food a day with prodding. He doesn't seem to have much interest in treats either.

Past puppies that I have had have devoured anything I put in front of them. Are there any tricks or anything I should be doing to help his appetitie along or is this normal while he adjusts to his environment?

I should add that he had worms when we brought him home. Not sure if that would affect it or not.

Editing again to add that he just went outside and there's a fair amount of blood in his runny stools today. I'm taking the little guy to the vet.

Perhaps the wormer is affecting his appetite or perhaps he's not liking the new food, was he eating all of the old food?

Some dogs don't eat much when they are introduced to a new home, it's a very stressful time for them and can affect their appetite. I'd give it more time before I'd start worrying. So long as he's eating something, it sounds normal to me. I had one that wouldn't eat hardly anything for a good two weeks when we first brought her home and now she's our biggest eater!

When we first rescued Ginger, she didn't eat much except for Beggin' Strips that the rescue sent with us. Since she wasn't eating, I had to go buy more Beggin' Strips because that was just about all she ate the first couple of days.
