2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

hello everyone!! im new here and just trying to get a feel of the place. but i actually had a question, and it seems like the perfect time to ask. =] i have talked to a groomer who told me to use a slicker brush on ghost, that it was best for his shedding. i have been brushing him everyday but it doesnt seem to really get the hair out. i was wondering if anyone has tried the Zoom Groom or something similar and how it worked for you. the last time i took him to bathe him i used one on his wet fur, but i wanted to know if it worked on dry as well? or what would your opinions be to try? thanksss!!!

I use it on my girls when they are blowing coat! Works great! I never use it in the bath (I personally don't need to), just on a dry coat. It really grabs the loose hair without doing damage to the rest of the hair.

I prefer a rake over a slicker brush to really get the loose hairs flying!! I like to Zoom Groom in the bath but I feel like it catches in the hairs and pulls a little causing the dog discomfort if used dry. All huskies are different in the way they shed and in their product tolerances. I have actually never tried a dry Zoom Groom on Sabaka since my first girl hated it so. But maybe I should... hmmm....

Mine seem to prefer the zoom groom to other brushes. I think it hurts them less. Plus it's about the only brush I can use on my short hair cats! They love it when I brush them with it. lol. Man, sometimes I think they shed just as much as my girls do!
