2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. I thought this was newer than it is, since I hardly browse Ruffwear these days since I own practically everything they sell and new items seem to be really rare... but I figured I would post this, because I think it's buckle is very desirable for any husky owner! (We got it in red because Jarod says Koda is a stud in red.. I wanted to do green! But I think the purple is so pretty)

Definitely their priciest collar at $30 (though I got it for $24 with free shipping at an online store), but I really, really like how secure the buckle on this is. Some of you may remember about a year and a half ago, Koda's collar buckle snapped when I was leaving to take him to daycare before work, and I had to chase him 5+ miles down one of the busiest streets in Phoenix at 8AM.. Since then, Jarod and I have only taken Koda outside on a slip lead or harness. I like the idea of feeling more secure that the plastic just isn't going to snap or the little insert pull out of the hole. Though the buckle looks like it'd be heavy, all reviews have said it's not hard weight on their dog's neck, even those with little pups.

I ordered this collar yesterday along with the Knot-a-Leash (I believe it's about $24),

Obviously a locking carabiner is a lot sturdier than a plastic clip. Plastic as a whole just makes me very uncomfortable. We all know I am overly paranoid, but I really think there is no price on feeling more confident in my dog's collar's buckle or my dog's leash's clip breaking when we are outside the home.

Just figured I'd share incase anyone else has looked for a more secure collar (and leash)! Though the collar apparently is a few months old, haha Smile.
