Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

My name is Nnenna but please call me Maru currently i am a student at the Art Institutes in Charleston SC and I'm in my third year. My boy is Kuma and he's currently 2 months old, he's red and white with parti eyes (blue and green) and he's my world. I look forward to being here and hope to meet more wonderful owners soon ^^

Welcome Maru and congrats on your new puppy! Whereabouts in Charleston are you? Myself and another member are both also in the Charleston area. I'm in Moncks Corner and our other member is in West Ashley. Maybe we could all get together sometime!

Are you going to the Pet Fest in Mt Pleasant in April? You can find more info here: Charleston, SC Pet Fest in April!

It would be awesome for the 3 of us to meet up there!

Man, you two will be very close then. The Pet Fest is on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 & 10th, that's two weeks from this coming weekend. Hopefully you don't have classes or work on the weekend.

It would be great if we could coordinate and try to meet up at the Pet Fest which is being held in Mt Pleasant at Palmetto Islands County Park.

Have you lived in Charleston long? Both Amber (sw33t_angel) and I are somewhat new to the Charleston area, I moved here in September so it's only been 6 months here for us.

great! I'll see what i can do then, most likely i'll be there on sunday because of work on saturday, If i can get confirmation from my mom for sunday then it's a go!

I've lived in Charleston for about..3 yrs now, i've moved here for college, im not that great with the area so much yet either haha but my grandparents know the area well they've been here for all their lives.

I've often seen a black and white husky being walked downtown near the park a lot. and every chance i get, either he disappears or i'm in a car lol.
