I went ahead and pulled this out of the welcome thread. Questions tend to get lost in there. We do have a thread dedicated to conformation but it too is getting long and doesn't always get as many checks as it once did, but if you want to look through it for tips on how to read conformation it has a ton of great advice and several examples of both show and non-show dogs being critiqued.
Conformation-Realistic look at Sibes and their faults
I'm not any good at reading conformation. He looks really nice to me. Seems like a good stop, might be a little shallow in the chest but puppies change so much the parts that are nice now might fall out and the parts that aren't right might come in. Lani
@HuskyMom09 has a wicked eye for conformation because she actually shows and works her dogs. Ashliegh
@simplify also has a good eye for it. Hopefully some will chime in and take a stab at it. Much to be learned in conformation.
