2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Has anyone worked with them? I was very pleased with our over the phone interview and would love to know what their dogs are like and how you experience was with them. They are located in Northern California. TIA

I have not dealt with them but looking at their website I would say they are good breeders. They don't have puppies all the time other than occasionally so that is a good sign. I also liked that they mention how they raise puppies and that they show their dogs. Looks good to me.

Thanks! I believe so too. They definitely seem like reputable breeders. I always like to check with others too in case they have personally dealt with the family/kennel.

They look pretty good to me. Although I find it a little odd that they're not listed on the Husky parent club - shca.org - as a reputable breeder. Generally a well established kennel will try to get listed on the parent club site because that means they adhere to a certain code of ethics. (Unless of course I just stupidly overlooked something and they are listed on the site.) Not a deal breaker by any means, but if you get the chance to talk to them again that might be a good question to ask. Smile

As long as they are working their dogs (confirmation, racing, etc.) and are doing health testing on their dogs (CERF, CHIC, OFA) and are open about giving these numbers and allowing you to see the documentation that the tests have actually been done and submitted to the http://www.offa.org/ website, they seem like a reputable breeder.

Their website doesn't provide a lot of information so it's hard to go off of that alone.

And Aidan, I agree. They even state on their website that they are a part of the SHCA, but I know sometimes breeders get out for whatever reasons.
