Julius K9 harness? Empty
PostSubject: Julius K9 harness?   Julius K9 harness? EmptySun Nov 16, 2014 3:46 am

I'm getting two Julius K9 IDC power harness for both my almost 3 month old boy (around 7.5Kilograms) and my 5 month old female (9KG).

Seeing as the female is bigger in size but not quite full in weight (I found her to be very skinny when I got her)

Was thinking of getting the little one a size Mini and the girl the size 0.
I'm stuck on weather I should just get them both size zeros or if it'll be too big for my little man.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

If these harnesses are at all expensive, I would wait until older - they will outgrow them FAST!

They're about 35-40$ each. Weird this post hasn't gotten more replies, thought this brand was more famous among husky owners.

With any harness that is more than $15....I would wait until they are full grown. I started out with Top Paw harnesses to get Kesler used to the pull on his chest/body rather than his neck. They are cheap and have a higher adjustability range than the more substantial harnesses. Bit more appropriate for a growing pup

The K9 IDC is not nearly as adjustable as you would need for the age of your pups. They would last a couple weeks, a month tops before you wouldn't be able to fit them on the pups any more. They are only moderately adjustable, which is why they have so many sizes available with only small adjustability ranges.

Just my two cents Smile

Did you get this harness and if so, any opinions?  I met a husky owner on a walk and he had a Julius-K9 harness.  He had a lot of positive things to say about it and I'm looking at getting a new harness.

Thanks.
